Katherine Takpannie is an urban Inuk born in Montreal, whose family is originally from Nunavut and continues to hold strong ties to its land and community. As an emerging photographer, Katherine honours the Inuit worldview through her lens; asserting a vision that is strongly grounded in social accountability and unity.
